XTERRA pre-arrival Information from West Maui Cycles

West Maui cycles would like to welcome both repeat and new competitors to Maui for the Xterra World Championship!

With only a few weeks to go, we wanted to let you know what will be available for you in the week leading up to and the day of Xterra.


At our main store in Lahaina. map We offer everything a full service bicycle store would have. Full expert repair service, bicycle accessories, parts, nutritional supplements and bicycle apparel.At our satellite shop located at the Race Head Quarters. MAP We will have mechanics on site, to offer full service needs for all athletes. Along with our regular repair services, we will offer a wide selection of tires, accessories and apparel.If you would like to collect your rental bike from our booth at Xterra in the Athletes village instead of our store and you haven’t already made arrangements, please let us know in advance.

We will be at the venue at the following times:

Wednesday 23rd 9am-2pm

Thursday 24th 9am-2pm

Friday 25th 9am-2pm

Saturday 26th 9am-5pm

Sunday 27th 6.30-8am

There is no charge for this service.

If you would like your rental bike collecting after the race, we need to know before the day, so we can allocate your bike a space in the van. We will be doing the pick up at 3pm from the transition area. Look out for our guys and the West Maui Cycles tents. If you miss the 3pm collection time and your rental is due back on the day of the race, remember that the store closes at 4pm, so please make sure you can return it before then.If you would like to have your rental bike collected there is a small additional fee of $25.

Consider if you would like tubeless tires for the race?

We are offering conversion to tubeless on the rental bikes with existing installed tires for $80 plus tax.

If you want new in stock tires of your choice that you can take home with you after the race. The price is dependent on the type and style of tires that you choose for the conversion, around $190 - $210 plus tax.
Please email us as soon as possible so we can schedule this service so the bike is ready for your arrival. email us here!

We will be selling the 2014 Stumpjumper FSR and Stumpjumer hardtail fleet after the race too!!
$1800 + tax for the FSR,(full specs and info FSR) and $1400 + tax for the hardtails (full specs and info hardtail) minus your original rental fee!
We will take it in and box it up for you after the race. Shipping not included in price (let us know if you’re leaving quickly)
